Retirement Commission www.retirement.org.nz The Retirement Commission is an independent crown agency that helps New Zealanders prepare financially for their retirement. The Commission’s “get sorted” page is a great tool that can assist New Zealanders on money matters. The Commission is responsible for public education about the Retirement Villages Act 2003. Helen's specialises in retirement village law and related commercial law. Michelle Burke has recently been co-opted to the Executive Committee of the Retirement Villages Association of New Zealand. In October 2011 we farewelled Rose Clements who left us to travel overseas and Rakhi Kannankeril who worked for both Settlement Services Limited and Burke Melrose during her time with us. We are sad to see Rose and Rakhi go but wish them all the best for the future. Congratulations to Alaister Moughan who graduated and was admitted to the High Court of New Zealand in September 2011. Our Team News
